Are you waiting from Medicare to get your ERX Incentive for the year 2009? If this is true then good news is that they started sending it now. I know a physician who lost his incentive just by 1%. The requirement to submit ERX for Medicare patient was 40% and he was determined that his qualified numbers were only 39%. I was disappointment more than him because we made sure all of our doctors who are genuinely sending ERx should get paid from Medicare. I made few calls and got some information which is important for everyone to know. If you want to get your ERX or PQRI incentive report please register yourself with Medicare on this website. https://idm.cms.hhs.gov/idm/user/welcome.jsp this website is exclusively made for Medicare incentive programs( This is not the same pecos registeration). You can access your reports and get the data what is qualified to get the incentives. Remember there is a huge process before you get the access to this site so the best would be; have someone who knows about Pecos or Medicare in order to access this.
I also want to update you in this blog how you can submit your EHR incentives; also using a link which is exclusively created for EHR incentives on CMS website https://ehrincentives.cms.gov/hitech/login.action .
I hope year 2011 will be a better year for all the practices if they follow the instructions on the above links and able to register successfully to get the Medicare incentives.
As always if you have any questions feel free to contact us.
